Magnolia View has been tastefully decorated throughout with a large living room, kitchen and dining room located on the ground floor and four good sized bedrooms situated upstairs, three of these are doubles and one is a twin. The real highlight for this wonderful self-catering cottage is its stunning garden, which can be found to the rear of the property has some beautiful countryside views.

Location

This family and dog friendly holiday cottage is ideally located for exploring North Devon. Situated in Goodleigh, the cottage is within walking distance of the village pub, The New Inn, which serves a great range of food and is very popular. North Devon’s largest town, Barnstaple is only a 10 minute drive, and the golden beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! can all be reached in less than 30 minutes. If you would prefer to head inland for the day, Exmoor National Park is also nearby and offers a wealth of walks and outdoor activities for all the family.

There are various attractions in North Devon all of which are within easy reach of Magnolia View. From family friendly parks such as Watermouth Castle and the Milky Way to beautiful open gardens, including Broomhill Sculpture Gardens and RHS Rosemoor. There really is an attraction for everyone when staying in North Devon.

Places to Eat

Goodleigh village is home to a very good pub, The New Inn, which serves a wonderful array of dishes, many of which use local produce and all are cooked fresh to order. Other pubs and restaurants, such as the Mason Arms, Lilicos, and Tom Carr’s The Olive Rooms can all be found nearby. Many pubs and restaurants are child friendly and are happy to welcome dogs.

Places to Visit

Goodleigh is central to many of North Devon’s beautiful towns and villages. The market town of Barnstaple is only a 10 minute drive and is home to a great range of shops and places to eat, as  well as all the main supermarkets, the town also has its own cinema and leisure complex. Further afield but still within easy reach of Magnolia View are the Victorian town of Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, Appledore and Instow.

Thanks to Magnolia View Cottage’s central location within North Devon there are many different activities to enjoy within the local area such as walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding. There are also several golf courses and at all the main beaches a number of water sports can be experienced with lessons offered in surfing for all ages and abilities.
