How many people can Magnolia View Cottage sleep?
Magnolia View Cottage can accommodate up to eight people in four bedrooms.
How many bedrooms are there at Magnolia View Cottage?
There are four bedrooms at the cottage, three of these are double and the other is a twin.
How many bathrooms are at Magnolia View Cottage?
There are two bathrooms at Magnolia View Cottage, one is located on the first floor and the other is a shower room and toilet on the ground floor.
Is the cottage dog friendly?
Yes, guests are welcome to bring a dog to the cottage. To help save on packing, a dog bed, bowls and poo bags are provided at the cottage.
What is the charge for bringing a dog?
Dogs are charged at an additional £30 each. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog.
Is the cottage child and baby friendly?
Yes, Magnolia View is child and baby friendly and a number of features and facilities are included in the price and available on request.
What equipment is provided for babies and children?
A travel cot, a high chair, and a stair gate, are available on request and at no additional charge. Please note linen is not provided for the travel cot.
Is the garden secure?
The garden at Magnolia View Cottage is fully enclosed and safe for both dogs and children.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes, a charcoal BBQ is provided. Please note you will need to bring your own charcoal.
Is there WiFi?
Yes there is superfast WiFi at the cottage. (~60mbps)
Is bed linen supplied?
Bed linen is supplied and included in the price. Please note cot linen is not provided.
Are towels provided?
Bath and hand towels for the cottage are provided, however you will need to bring towels for the beach.
How do we book the cottage?
Booking availablity can be viewed via the Airbnb link. Bookings can be made by contacting us directly at magnoliaview@btinternet.com or via the Airbnb link.
How far is the nearest pub?
The New Inn is the nearest pub and is only a couple of minutes walk from Magnolia View Cottage.
How far is the nearest beach?
Saunton is 10 miles away and can be reached in around 20 minutes. Croyde is 12 miles and Woolacombe 16 miles. In the opposite direction, Westward Ho! is a 13 mile drive from the cottage. All the major North Devon beaches can be accessed in less than 30 minutes.
Which supermarkets deliver to the cottage?
Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys will deliver to the cottage. There are also a number of local farm shops and pannier markets that are well worth a visit for fresh produce.
Is Magnolia View fully accessible?
The cottage is almost 400 years old and full of charm and history. All ceilings are full height, though there are a couple of lower doorways connected to the dining room. Please note: there is a step into each room throughout the cottage, so it may not be suitable for people with mobility challenges.
What are the parking arrangements?
In the village, local residents generally park outside their own properties. There is space for 2-3 cars to park immediately outside Magnolia View. If needed, there are also other areas to park nearby by the local church and at the sports field and village hall.
House Rules
The cottage is in a sweet, tranquil village with lovely neighbours adjoining on both sides, it is ideal for families, couples and groups wanting a relaxing countryside break.
Parties and events are not permitted and it's not suitable for groups seeking a very social break and we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm, especially in the garden.
No stag or hen groups.
Please do not park in front of neighbours' properties. There is space for 2-3 cars to park outside the cottage and additional parking available if needed (see parking FAQ above).
No candles, smoking or vaping in the cottage.
8 guests maximum.
One well behaved dog is welcome when requested at the time of booking. Dogs should not be left unattended. We kindly ask that dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings, sofas, beds or upstairs. (Please clear up any dog mess in the garden)
